Associate District Judge
Judge Bridges was elected Associate District Judge for McIntosh County in 2018, and in 2022, he was elected unopposed for a second term. Before taking the bench, he practiced as a sole practitioner at Bridges Law Firm P.C., focusing on criminal defense, civil litigation, estate planning, probate, government, and appellate practice. He earned his J.D. with highest honors from the University of Tulsa College of Law in 2009, graduating in the top 5% of his law school class. During law school, he served as Article Research Editor for the Tulsa Law Review, was inducted into the Order of the Curule Chair, and was a member of Phi Delta Phi honor fraternity. He received the Kenneth L. Brune Award for excellence in evidence and earned multiple CALI Awards (awarded to first in respective class) in Evidence, Evidence Workshop, Legal Research and Writing, Constitutional Law II, Corporate Law, and Criminal Procedure: Police Practices. Judge Bridges holds a B.S. in Criminal Justice with a Paralegal emphasis from Northeastern State University (2006) and is a graduate of Eufaula High School (2001).
Active in civic and youth programs, he has served on the Eufaula City Council, the Eufaula Board of Education, and the board of the Eufaula Chamber of
Commerce. He and his wife, Erin—part owner of Mama Tigs Food Wired Pizza—have three sons: Maddox, Max, and Mavrix.
